Short biography

Bravo Papa is a Norwegian indie rock/post punk band, consisting of Kjetil aka “Kelly” Rønningen on vocals, Øystein Granheim Hammer on guitars, Mads Friberg on drums and Alexander Aarvik on bass guitars. They have been compared to bands and artists like The Smiths, Morrissey, The Strokes, The Chameleons, The Cure, Television and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. But they are also a mixture of genres, as the four members have different musical backgrounds and all take part in the creation of the songs. Bravo Papa was formed in august 2009, and play gigs mostly in Oslo, Norway.
